An annual retreat is given to all members of the Philippine MSC province as an opportunity to reflect on a certain theme about ministry, prayer, mission, vocation, etc,. in view of what it means to live one’s religious life in our context and time. This year the retreat was facilitated by Fr. Wilfredo Dulay, MJ with the theme “Religious Life Today” and was held in two groups. The first group had their retreat on November 9 – 13, 2009 at the SPC Renewal Center, Alfonso, Cavite. There were 24 confreres who participated. The second group had 31 participants and it was held on November 23 – 27, 2009, at the Holy Family Retreat House, Nivell Hills, Cebu City. The retreat provided a time for sharing of insights, experiences and reflections on the challenges that religious life poses today.
