Apostolic Nuncio Joins MSC Centennial Celebrations in Surigao

SURIGAO CITY, Philippines – The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Edward Joseph Adams came to Surigao City to take part in the grand celebration of the Centenary of the MSC Presence and Mission in the Philippines.
He arrived in Surigao City by plane from Manila at noontime on 11 December 2008. Surigao City Mayor Alfonso Casurra and Surigao Bishop Antonieto Cabajog gave him a warm welcome at the airport (click here for photos of the Nuncio’s arrival).
From the airport, the Apostolic Nuncio proceeded to the MSC Shrine in Canlanipa, Surigao City to bless and plant the MSC Centennial Trees (click here for related story). After the blessing and planting of the three trees, the Apostolic Nuncio and guests were treated to a sumptuous lunch at the Shrine.
Immediately after lunch, the image of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart was processioned from the MSC Shrine in Canlanipa to the Surigao Cathedral where Mass was to be celebrated at 4:00 PM (click here for photos of the procession).
Archbishop Adams presided over the 4:00 PM Mass held at the Surigao Cathedral. The bishop of Surigao, the MSC General Superior, the MSC Philippine Provincial Superior and hundreds of MSC and diocesan priests concelebrated with the Apostolic Nuncio. Also in attendance were members of the Chevalier Family – Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (DOLSH), Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart (MSC Sisters), Chevalier Lay Associates, and Missionary Sisters of Mary (MSM). Other guests present were representatives from Congregations of Religious Sisters who have worked longest with the MSC like the St Paul Sisters, Benedictines, and SFIC, and those currently working with them.
The homily of the 4:00 PM Mass was delivered by Fr Ben Verberne, MSC, the Provincial Superior of the MSC Dutch Province. In his homily he gave a historical overview of the MSC mission in the Philippines (click here for photos of the Mass).
After the Mass, the Apostolic Nuncio took part in the Dinner and Cultural Celebration at the Surigao City Gym (click here for related story).
The Apostolic Nuncio returned to Manila on 12 December 2008.

Congressman Rufus Rodriguez is seeking re-election in his district of CDO, Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and a situation has been brought to our attention that we want to inform him of.
Rufus Rodriguez owns a rental property in CDO that he rents out to a American expatriot of questionable agendas, records and past. I highly doubt Mr. Rodriguez knows of the kind of people his house is harboring so have decided to inform both him and the internet community in hopes of enlightening the situation during this campaigning period.
The American national currently residing in the house is one Gordon Elletson who goes by Gordy and posts on many internet forums using the name TexKano. Gordon Elletson is of a deffective mental state and is a admitted child abuser and basher of the Filipino populace. Please see link below of how Gordy Elletson , using his TexKano nic, admitted to hitting Xavier Madlangbayan with a cane and then proceeding to call the boys grandfather, Dr. Severino Madlangbayan,(who is seeking a city council seat in Iligan City) a banana eating monkey. Is this kind of elitest American truly the sort of expatriot that a elected Congressman wants to be connected to? Well Gordon Elletson seems to think the congressman loves him and will washover any mess he gets himself into. I find it hard to believe a elected congressman will forsake his constituents , who elected him, in a effort to protect a abusive foreign national.
The second expatriot, now deceased, is one Randall Chester Goings who goes by Bubba and posted on net under nic Bubbabobbaker. This fellow had a lengthy criminal record which included multiple drug charges. Randall Goings was brought to the Philippines by Gordon Elletson where he lived , together with Gordy, in the proprty owned by Congressman Rufus Rodriguez of CDO, Cagayan de Oro. I have something sinister to present which involves a British pimp named Michael Mountstephen who openly admits that he has political protection from various politicians in CDO Philippines.
This is an election period and while I am not affiliated with any candidate my hope is to enlighten the voting populace as to these disgusting issues taking place in Cagayan de Oro City. I find it disturbing that these sickening things occur in CDO and hope truly that the politicians of that locality will address these issues as they without doubt are important to the constituents of this city.

Gordon Elletson makes it sound as though he is a innocent citizen, sober since 1991 and a non-abusive person.
Truth is he was drunk there in CDO and called Bradley Hughes to help him. Also, Gordy Elletson has a long history a abusing both women as well as children !!!!! For evidence of this abuse just look at what his biological son Chad Elletson had to say on his FACEBOOK account in link below.

We already have contact with Chad, who seems to be a nice man, and it seems Gordon not only abused him but also his mother. I think history has repeated itself in Cagayan de Oro Philippines as Gordons self caught up with him in CDO.
